A really simple green vegetable that’s packed with flavor. This is a family favorite and common daily dish to eat with rice and other sides. Please excuse the terrible lighting in the photos. We are trying to get the parents to take more of the photos themselves and there is clearly a learning curve 😄
Ingredients
通(空)心菜 (tong xin cai)
garlic cloves
oil
soy sauce
fish-flavored sauce
Steps
First, crush the garlic
Heat up oil in a wok to a high temperature and add the garlic.
After the scent and flavor from the garlic has been released, add the vegetables.
Stir fry the vegetables and mix well. Once cooked properly, the leafy vegetable should drastically reduce in volume.
Drain the water from the wok and place the vegetables in a mixing bowl
Mix in the soy sauce and fish sauce to taste.
Serve on a plate. That's it!
I made this recipe over the weekend and loved it! This will certainly be a new staple in our house.
